Fire Alert Went Off At Oktoberfest

This Wednesday, I went to GUC to attend the Oktoberfest. Oktoberfest, whole as" The Munich

Oktoberfest", is a festival that is celebrated by German. German people put on costumes, hold
parade and drink German traditional Black Beer during the Oktoberfest. In SU, there is no parade or costume, and due to the weather forecast, the location switched from outdoor tent to indoor at GUC:(, which made it less fun. At the entrance of GUC, students can buy cotton candies, popcorn and Black Beer. When walking to the Link of Nation, one side of the corridor was occupied by tables of different club on campus. It is a good chance for students who want to figure out which club to join in. I even saw a table of Quidditch Team there! Wondering how they ride the broom... It is also a good chance for clubs to get fundraising. Clubs baked some cakes or made some T-shirts to sell or simply just put a box on the table and waited for someone nice to
donate!

One interesting thing happened when I was talking to members in my club. A mom was talking to others, holding the baby in her arms, without noticing that the baby pulled of the FIRE ALERT! The whole GUC was overwhelmed by flashlights and warning sound. Though people in the corridor knew that it was caused by the baby >_<'', people in commons had no idea about what had happened, and they all RAN OUT(haha...maybe more like walking out, slowly). When they found out what had happened, everyone laughed and many students took out their phones to record this
memorable moment~ The alert didn't stop until the police came and used the key to lock it back. Students went back to commons to enjoy their meal (wonder whether they need to pay for the entrance again).
