This Tuesday, I went to the Philosophy house to attend their Chinese Tea Time. Chinese Tea Time is a little bit similar to the English Corner in China, just in much smaller size--just 4 American students were there.
I signed the program as being a Chinese partner to an American student. My partner Rosemary is a very friendly girl who has been studying Chinese for one semester, which means her Chinese is not very good. She is also capable of speaking German. During the Tea Time, we exchanged our opinions on different languages---we all think that French is the hardest language ever! :)
Prof. Dwyer prepared delicious Chicken wings that made in Chinese recipe for us, together with some cookies and candies. Though we didn't meet many American students there, it was a great time for us to talk with those students and professors.
Hope to see them next Tuesday.
PS: Yesterday is our classmate Hao's birthday and today is Heng's birthday~Happy birthday to Hao and Heng!
