Happy Mid-Autumn festival

      Yesterday is China's Mid-Autumn festival, although can't with my family and the feast. But my friends and I had also very happy. Together we do China's family reunion dinner. Have dumplings, moon cakes, stewed chicken wings, braise in soy sauce meat. We do very delicious, because we all have finished these dishes. After we eat a meal ,we go dance together, sing the song together, chatting together. We had a good time, I think the Mid-Autumn festival we all had fun. Finally, I would like to wish everyone a happy Mid-Autumn festival !

FRIDAY

 on friday,i'm  eated lunch with chengyuan zhang,li liu and jackie lin in restaurant.The restaurant near the mall,it's very exotic and beautiful. the reataurant have a bar right in the middle.although the bar is not big but the bar has a lot of wine.i'm  not full 21 one full year of life,however i want to try todink fruity wine.the restaurant food are very delicious,i love this restaurant's lemonade beverage--Mountain dew!!!the fried cheese like gum can pull very long and the Honey BBQ is very delicious!the meat is tender!then we go to the MALL shopping.in order to HALLOWEEN i bought a black witch boot fragrant stantion on OCTOBER .and i bought a lenmon lanvender aroma candles in YANKEE CANDLE.because i'm recently insomnia. i discovered aroma therapy really is useful and revitalize or to relax.last,happy MID-AUTUMN festival and i love china,happy birthday!

The Mid-Autumn Festival

         It was Chinese traditional festival yesterday. When I was in China, family members should eat dinner together. Moon cake is the special food on this festival.

        I was planig nothing yesterday. However, I thought I should do something on weekends. So I went to shopping mall with my friends.
I bought some clothes and saw a movie.
       The movie's name called Looper. The movie was preetty good. I also ate pop-corn. When I came back, it was already mid night, I was very happy yesterday.

Philadelphia

Yesterday I went to the Phliadelphia to join arts festival.When we arrived ,many peploe in front of the art museum and toke pictures.We went in to the museum,I fond it has two floors.The Adult Cupid statue appear in my eyes,and we see around fond more statues here.When we stand on the picture with called sunflower,See the comment just know was van gogh painting it.At that time,very excited.We walked on, found a lot of famous paintings there were many famous statue.We took pictures, leave in my canon APS-C.After 3 hours ,we wen to the science and technology museum.Here we saw lot of things about somatology.At 5PM,we went back with school bus.How interesting day,doesn't it?

the Mid-Autumn festival

Today is the Mid-Autumn festival, in China today is the family reunion day, everyone together in the bright moonlight, to celebrate, eat moon cakes, chat. But it is now clear that won't be possible, I far the United States, the night looking at the moon, perhaps this the moon will have passed by on the other side of the earth's China. In fact I still compare miss China's moon cake, egg yolk paste, red bean paste, various.In recent days I have been SALISBURY the city looking for moon cakes, but let me despair, moon cakes in the United States belong to rare goods, not where there are sold. That is why I was overwhelmed. This is probably another big regret it.

Saturday morning

When i got up, all of my roommates have been gone. I search kitchen,living room ,bedrooms, garden and so on. What happened?

 I thought back,they went to bed lately yesterday night. Maybe they have been to Philadelphia,an then I need take care myself today.

Have Fun

   We set out very early in the morning to Philadelphia. I was sleepy but excited!

     The museums are splendid. I'm so small in this picture. Many pictures，antique made me crazy. I like this picture the most. It is also well-known called Sun Flowers. I have never seen such museums before.Happy!

    We met a campus' college day. There were a lot of people and the atmosphere was lively. It's funny!

      It took us a long time to find the Chinatown. But fortunately we found it in the end. It was pretty crowded there because today is Chinese Mid-autumn Day. This festival is to celebrate family's reunion. We usually eat moon cake today. But now I can only miss my whole family. T T

     Then we went back to campus. We arrived at around 9 pm. Late and tired!

BWI

 One of my hobby is driving. On Saturday morning, I left home at 9:00 for Baltimore Washington International Airport to see airplanes. It took about 2.5 hours from Salisbury to Airport. I like airport because I feel like traveling. I arrived at Dulles International Airport about 1 month ago. I wanted to go Baltimore, my dreams come true ...by my self. I couldn't see airplanes because the airport is under construction. There was no windows or spot to see airplanes. I'm so sad...

However, I really want to take airplanes and traveling somewhere in the United States!

Next week, I'm planning to go Ocean City to do "beach combing."

Sample life

My life has going to be colorful in Salisbury.

Go to and  come back between school and home on monday to friday regularly.Sometimes ,I cooking for my roommates but they don't like my taste.So i try to change my way.

Maybe,i am not suit Salisbury totally.If you don't have car,it is hard  to go shopping and buy vegetable and so on.   Fortunately, i don't have those trouble.<3

Now ,i like listen to piano.I came to church twice that piano voice deeply in my mind. i study music theory  recently. I can't believe all of my roommate good at sing.i am share about my voice.whatever,i like music.

One day of mine

It was the second day of our  holiday . I felt good. I felt I am free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in China. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an Englishdaily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours.I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must go! I am very hungry.

Luck girl

       We went to the shopping mall yesterday. I was doing just that in the test,so I want to pull myself together by having some fun. There is a Red Lobster where I ate delicious crab and lobsters.
       When I come out of the shopping mall and took taxi home, I found a phone in the backset. I reckon that this phone belonged to my friend who lost this phone one week ago. It was amazing, I couldn't believe this coincidence.

Uncle's birthday

The original uncle's birthday is September 25th. But he lives Virginia,

So he couldn't get to come on a weekday.We should meet on the weekend.

We met on Saturday.We went to golden corral restraurant.

There were so many delicious food and dessert.And came to home ate cake.

Pre-wrote a birthday card and gave gifts.I gave to him fishing tools.

Because he loves fishing, i like fishing too. I usually go to fishing with my uncle.

He left at that night at the end of a birthday party.

We had  very happy weekend.

Trip to New York

Yesterday I went to the United States the most prosperous of the most beautiful New York city. This is the school organization a activities, only the time of the day. Because time is so short, I only went to the Chinese city and the fifth avenue, but also the two places, let me deeply in love with the city.New York is really beautiful is very lively, very much like China's Shanghai. We Chinese people in New York city in the big city set up their own a small town named Chinese city. There is a lot of Chinese, came to China city like themselves on China. China city has many delicious Chinese snacks, and many Chinese specialty. I work in the China national city for an afternoon, ate a lot of things, also play a lot of place, I'm very happy. Then I went to the fifth avenue, the scenery there really too prosperous. There's a beautiful and solemnly church, and many of the world famous brand shop. And the fifth avenue can see people from all over the world.Time flies, a day time so the past, I still have a lot of places didn't go to it, such as; The statue of liberty, the Empire State Building, times square in New York, the United Nations building. So I decided to this year's Christmas I must be in New York city.I love New York.

"THE BIG BANG THEORY "

This weekend, I was at the shopping mall to buy a DVD, is "THE BIG BANG THEORY ",at that night I waste a lot of time and efforts to see the front set, my English is not so good, I want to borrow a television and movie improve my level, although look very hard, but I still understand, it's a lot of slang, sometimes it is difficult to understand, but in general or very interesting, the story is about a few college students in the United States funny story. In this movie I found, in fact, in some ways and our present life is very close to, and in it I can learn more about American university life, more benefit at me and American students communication.

nothing special..

This week end I did nothing special, I just went shopping to the mall. She bought lot of things, but I was fealing so hungry I didn't feal like buying anything I just wanted to eat. When we finished shoping we went to the food court. we so a restaurant where they was no body so we decided to taste it. we took two cheesteak and came home to eat it. It was so delicious.

Finding HOBBY

When I was in Japan, my hobby is to drive to the airport to see airplanes. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Tokyo international airport from my house.
 However in Maryland there is no big airport around this area. I need to find another hobby in the United States. Today, I'm thinking about my new hobby. For example, growing flowers in my room, having pets like golden fish or something, and beach combing. Then I went to home center to get a flower that the sales person recommended. I forgot the name but it's a kind of mysterious shape flower .
Next Saturday or Sunday, I will go to the beach to find something as "beach combing." If someone wants to come with me, please ask me about it!

 

egg

I was making breakfast found several bad egg, she told me a few eggs quality discrimination method.she tall me White eggs than red shell eggs nutritious. first, you can look the egg into the lamp,good egg color very bright,but long time of egg colour is dark. second, you can gently shaking the egg with your hand,good egg don't have voice,but a long time egg have sound and feel there is something in there. thirdly, you can put the egg on the table to rotate, good egg will rotate two or three turn is stop, however,long time egg is  quickly than good egg . fourthly, you can put the egg into bowl of water, good egg should sinking the bowl,but if the egg is sank down in the bowl, it's bad egg. Fifthly, you must open a egg in bowl,if egg's yolk is transparent,it's good, bad egg have a red or turbid yolk.today I bought a box of eggs eggs in WAL-MART,i try using this method in dormitory, it is good,i look for the expiration period is October 15.

O~M~G ~

     Every week goes too fast.Friday,again.However, I want to experience new

things as much as I can. So this Monday my friend Claire with me went to the

Commons Dining Hall for lunch. It's a cafeteria with substantial different kinds

of food. We were hungry when we came, but pretty full went out.There were salads,

sandwiches,brownie,ice-cream,pizza and so on.May be I'll often go there later.

      People always asked me "how's everything going". My answers were the same-a

 lot homework to do. Sometimes I have no free time to enjoy other things actually 

like clubs.It's a little regretful. Even though I'm busy doing homework, I've 

never been tired of it. Cause I know I'm learning English now and I have to pay 

much attention on it otherwise I'll get nothing.Today, I did the 

presentation.It's not that good.I don't want to mention it.( T _ T )

on Saturday afternoon, it's a sunny day,i'm goes to WAL-MART shopping,but i have 50 to waiting bus in front of  the OFFICE bus stop.  when i goes to the bus stop before found two hovers in the sky eagle. This is i first time saw the eagles only see on Tv. In the process of waiting for the bus I listen to music and  goes to senior high school and the same road. i'm Glancing to the left, this lawn is bigger than my high shool's playground. The wind is very strong, the sunshine was warm. In the autumn the road is very comfortable.I thank if i unhappy ,i can go to this sreet with my friend,absolutely easy to allow ourselves.However,when i was back to the street, i'm look of a caterpillar.It's very terrible!!

HAVE A GOOD TIME

hualong lee and I went to the house who was invite many pepole to joining the BBQ last week.The owner of the house taken some food、fruit and drunk for us.After half an hour pepoles came on.At the party I made some new friends here!We were talking about something and play with UNO.I don't konw the rule of the UNO,but my new friends teach me.Ten minutes later I got it!It's so funny.Three hours later,we went home,how nice day!

Time waits for no one

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on. It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time. Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high reputation, time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time. Although I have more than two days holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to do. I had a lot of homework to do and I am essential to complete the homework as soon as I have time.

Meet my new family!

I have always dreamed Of having the experience of having an American family. On Saturday my dream became true. I meet my new family hOst. she is sO nice tO me. She even invited us tO church this Sunday. She has 2 daughters and two grand children.. She presented me tO One of her  daughter and her grand children. . I hOpe to see her other daughter next week end.

I bought sweatshirt, and pants in Hollister.

at lunch time in food court at panda express, I ate orange chicken, beef, and chowmein.

This story happened in monday noon.I have naps and have a dream. In my dream, my mom wish i will be home for Spring Festival.I said,i wouldn't. She continued,do you have enough living expense?  She told to my father,post more and more money to our son.Then he can bought plane ticket.But i said no. I living well.I don't need extra cost.

Suddenly, i woke up.I post my feeling to my qq zone. My younger sister shows that essay to my mom.My sister sent message to me ,She was crying when she was reading.

I could hardly find words to express how sad it is! God bless my family!

I like the weather

   I came to the United States for some times, the most that I like is the weather here, every day I can see the blue sky (except for intermediate and a cloudburst), the wind is cool, the sun is heat.And they are together will become warm.I want to do is that in after supper,I walking in the street,and listening to music, blow the night breeze.Enjoy the evening carefree days.Salisbury is not a very prosperous city, however, there was no peace big cities. I like the environment

Experiences in SU Ⅰ

This afternoon, I went to the football field with one of my friends at around 1

o'clock. We have never seen American football before and knew little about the

differences between football and soccer. We saw many athletes in the court

fighting for the football.At the same time, the cheerleaders' show was also quite

wonderful. One of the cheerleaders is my friend's roommate.

And then, we met the host families in Agata's home.I followed Mr.Cooper's map and 

found her home soon. Many people BBQ together there. We chatted, ate a lot of

delicious foods and played cards.I met a member of my host family. She is Sharon, 

a nice women with beautiful smile on her face.I like her very much.She said 

she'll call me some days later.I hope that I can see her more often in the 

future.

Happy weekend

         This afternoon and a few friends go to the mall shopping the. I bought a lot of things, is mainly to eat. Now I find I have love to eat the food. It's really delicious. But I also bought some vegetables and pork, I can also do Chinese food, Chinese food is very delicious. And now I have learned to cook, I'm very happy. The most important is I still bought a TV, because my English is not good, so I want to watch TV every day, listen to them speak English, I can also learn English. I believe I will learn English well, come on, believe in yourself! We have been around until the evening just come back, everyone bought a lot of things, we are come back with fruitful results. Today's shopping though a little tired, but very happy very substantial. Wish I can be happy every day.

Chinese students fellowship

      Yesterday, I went to the church with some classmates, because they told me there is a free dinner, and some people will tell me some bible stories.
      There, I ate a lot of delicious food and knew a lot of nw friends. Most of them are from UMES. Then, a teacher taught us some a song of praise. Finally, a prefessor gave us a lecture about water! In fact, it is not very interesting. perhaps, I wouldn't go there next week.

Drug and Alcohol Test

I didn't know that in Maryland, we need to take a drug and alcohol test in order to take a driver's license.  I took the test on Saturday in Ocean Gateway, Cambridge, where it took about 45 minutes from Salisbury. In this week, I studied not only for classes but also for this test. I didn't know about drugs at all. For example, Marijuana influences our ability to think for hours after the high condition. In addition to this, I didn't know that about 25% of accidents are due to alcohol. Of course, we must not drink and drive. Then, I have to study for knowledge test and practice for driving test from now!

 People who want to take a driver's license in Maryland, ask me about drug and alcohol!

What A Busy Week！

     This week can be clarified in a word--busy. There are many classes and a lot

homework. Though today is Friday, I still have much homework to do.I feel I

really can't  relax and enjoy this weekend.In retrospect,last weekend, some

Chinese friends with I went to Dr.Song's home to eat dumplings together.We were

 happy at that time cause most of these dumplings made by ourselves.

      However,there are still something fun in the weekdays. For instance，I met

 the mayor of Salisbury in the downtown on Tuesday.He is a tall, friendly and

humour man.He talked the history of Salisbury, answered questions,took photos 

with us and sent a key ring. It is meaningful time to me!

                        

      This evening, I went to the Church near the campus with some friends. We 

listened the songs related to the Christianity. One professor sang a song in 

front of us. They prayed and read some rudimentary doctrine in the Bible. I

 know they must be devoted to the Christianity. I just experienced the

 atmosphere in the church.

                        

      I'm busy doing homework and taking class every weekday. But I firmly 

believe everything will be OK soon as long as I'm hardworking.

SHOOL BUS

yesterday,i received of my friend's message.she said:the school bus as like as two peas on USA.but SU's shool bus are don't like the usual shool bus,it's whhite and longer than usual shool bus.i think the school bus is most convenient transportation
.however,personally speaking,i believe SU shool bus are very cold on moring. when i live in china,i heard that USA school bus collision with hummer in Indiana.it's  amazing!!stusents has a safety transportation environment.

the two-day weekend

It was the second day of our the two-day weekend. All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have two days to do things we love to do. We are free. Although we have some homework. But we can finish them in a little time. And the rest time we can make good use of. My god! We have been very tired after hard studying. In  the two-day weekend, I want to have full sleep and eat good food in order to replenish myself. Last but not the least, I will have a good rest.

Ocean city



       My classmates drove me to the Ocean city on last Saturday. Being about half an hour from Salisbury by car has made the town an ideal destination for us.

       The silver sand shoreline is surrounded by the warm azure blue Atlantic Ocean and the lively street. Although it is September, strong sunshine make the sand too hot for my bare feet.

        It is my first time to set foot on the beech of Atlantic Ocean. However, I forget to bring my swimwear from home, so I didn't have the chance to feel the water this time. I took a lot of photos of landscapes and portraits, and wanted to share this exotic scenario with my family and frieng at Beijing.


        It is a very interesting day!
 

PLAY TENNIS

   In last week ,it's my first time to play tennis,so exciteing!After dinner,we went to tennis court.Lee is a beginner,who is the same with me.When we got to court,here were a lot of people playing tennis.So we went in and asked some people how to play tennis.A conversation,we learned a lot of tennis.We went to another court and play with Lee.After 2 hours later ,when we were tired out,but we were so happy and went back home.

MiisS U mOom..

Since last year, I knew that I will be separated from my mOther, but I didn't knOw it would be so hard. 

My mOther came to the US to spent her summer hOidays here with me, sO I was used to her here with me. On Thursday afternOon she had to leave, in the mOrning I had to tell her goodbye but I didn't have the courage to tell her because she will miss me tOo much, her food, her advices.. everything!! so I just went to college with Out telling her, I spent a baD day because I knew Dat when I will cOme back hOme she wOnt be their. I misS her sO much.

Cooking! Cooking!

 When I lived in Japan, I didn't need to make dinner by myself, because my mother did everyday.
 However, I need to make every breakfast, lunch (sometimes I have lunch in the cafeteria), and dinner.
Yesterday, it was the second experience to make dinner by myself! I went to Fruitland Wal-Mart and got sausage, tomato sauce, spaghetti, and some vegetables.
I sauted sausage and tomato sauce while I boiled spaghetti like this...











After ten minutes,  mix them...

It was delicious for me.
I thought my dinner was much better than I expected. This was my big experience in the United States in this week!

Goodbye My Dog

   I came to the United States has for almost a month, I miss my family, this is my first time to came to the United States. I have a dream that I want to be very good to finish my studies . Although I often meet my family in the video, but still not dilute the thoughts of my family.Some time ago my mother send me a photo with my dog. Look! He is sleeping. I am not at home it seems to be pretty lonely, when I am at home I will  play with it everyday. I'm not at home it forcibly occupied my sofa and blanket, it seems that my parents too spoil it.Now I want to touch it that it's curly hair.The most interesting thing is when  we have a meal of the time, it will drill to my mother's hand below, eagerly looked at the table waiting for  we  finished, the eyes seemed to say "I'm hungry," we slightly do not pay attention to will jump to the table to steal to eat.

The Good Life

    I enjoy the United States, has been very want to go to the United States. Now my dream come true, in Maryland university Salisbury. Here, I am very happy, very happy. This teacher is very good, I am also very concerned about, students are also very friendly, often helps me. I like the life here, I fell in love with everything here.
    And my English is not very good, I am currently in Salisbury university to learn English. I want to double our efforts to learn English, hope that early language graduation, the real into college students. Believe in yourself will be successful, come on!
