Happy Chinese NewYear!!!Haven't written the blog for soooooo long！！Today is Chinese New Year,a festival that is as important as Christmas in American!!Some of my classmates went home to spend the winter vacation with their families,though most of us were staying at the apartments.So we decided to throw a party to celebrating the Spring Festival ourselves.Every one did their part to cook one dish to make the whole table of yummy real Chinese food. I brought some fried chicken wings,it took me more than one hour to fry all the wings thoroughly(You can't see the chicken wings ,because it was in the microwave when we took this picture)And there are Jiao Zi in the picture(The white one,which looks like ear).Jiao Zi is a very traditional Chinese food especially when we have a get-together dinner.Another typical food we'll have when hold get-together party with the family is Tang Yuan(Sweet Dumpling).American people often get confused with the JiaoZi and Tang Yuan,they call both the two "sweet dumpling".Actually Tang Yuan or SweetDumpling is the little white ball often with sugar in it (That's why we call it sweeeeet dumpling) and Jiao Zi is what you see in the picture，it's much bigger and has a "ear" shape often with meat and vegetable in it!!This is Sweet Dumpling(First One) and Jiao Zi(Second One)~~~Look cute and delicious，don't they?LOL!!
